The last weekend of July will mark the beginning of a new festival series set up by the organizers of the German hard rock and heavy metal festival Bang Your Head!!! Dubbed Rock Of Ages, the event is set to take place July 28-29, 2006 in Seebronn (close to Rottenburg),Germany. The first installment of Rock Of Ages is themed "Twisted Forever" in honor of this year's headlining act, TWISTED SISTER, with whom the organizers share a long-lasting friendship and who played an important role in the develepment of Bang Your Head!!! by headlining it both in 2003 and 2005 along with a solo-appearance of Dee Snider back in 2001.

Musically, the festival will primarily focus on melodic and traditional rock and will give the organizers the opportunity to feature bands that might not fit into the concept of Bang Your Head!!!TWISTED SISTER will represent the hardest musical edge of the two-day stage program and they will be joined by eleven more acts who will be announced during the upcoming weeks.

The English section of the official Rock Of Ages homepage (www.rock-of-ages.de) will be set up by the end of January and will feature all background and latest information about the event as well as the possibility of ordering tickets online. The price for a two-day festival ticket is 79 euros.
